-

Michele Pierro, PhD
Vice President of Data Science
With a PhD in biomedical engineering from Tufts University and prior algorithm-development experience at ABIOMED, Michele has spent his career applying complex physiological signals to medical-device development. He served as principal investigator for the IPASS program and is an inventor on the patented near-infrared method underlying CranioSense’s noninvasive intracranial-pressure technology.
-

Nikhila Simhadri, MS
Biomedical and Marketing Research Coordinator
Nikhila trained in Medical Product Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh and has hands-on experience developing device test protocols, analyzing performance data, and supporting usability studies with surgeons. She applies that experience at CranioSense by connecting product-development work with clinician feedback, market research, and commercialization priorities.
-

Gordon Hirschman
Founding Chairman of the Board
Gordon founded Vivonics after leading the Biomedical Division of Infoscitex and has spent decades moving biomedical technologies from government-funded R&D into licensed and commercial programs. He provides strategic oversight and continuity from the original IPASS platform through CranioSense’s clinical and commercial development.
-

John Zimmerman, MBA
Head of Commercialization
John co-founded DataPop, served as COO overseeing product, engineering, R&D, and technical operations, and helped lead the company through its acquisition by Criteo. He later co-founded Undivided and brings CranioSense a founder’s perspective on product strategy, company building, and scalable execution.
-
