CranioSense Wins Top Prize at the M2D2 $200K Challenge

CranioSense was named a top prize winner at the 2025 M2D2 $200K Challenge, earning $50,000 in seed funding from the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC). The award recognizes CranioSense’s innovation in noninvasive brain-pressure monitoring, a technology designed to make intracranial pressure (ICP) measurement faster, safer, and more accessible. 

Hosted by the Massachusetts Medical Device Development Center (M2D2) at UMass Lowell and UMass Chan Medical School, the competition drew over 175 startups from 12 countries and 22 U.S. states, according to the UMass Lowell press release. 
 
“This recognition provides critical support as we move closer to bringing our technology into clinical use,” said Ryan Myers, Co-Founder and CEO of CranioSense, in Inside Lowell’s coverage.

The $50,000 MLSC prize will accelerate clinical validation and commercialization efforts as CranioSense advances its mission to redefine neurological monitoring.
